MR Valuation Consulting, LLC has an immediate job opening for the “Engineering / Valuation Consultant” internship position in our Colts Neck, New Jersey office. COMPANY DESCRIPTION MRV Consulting is an international consulting firm that specializes in valuation and appraisals for a variety of purposes, including acquisitions, divestitures, property tax litigation, cost segregations, purchase price allocations, and other financial transactions. Through its partnerships, MRV Consulting is also involved in energy industry development in Latin America, and is currently expanding its presence in this sector. JOB QUALIFICATIONS BS or BE in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, (General) Engineering, or Engineering Management, or 0-2 years of experience in the appraisal/valuation field. Interest in business, finance, accounting, energy, and/or tax consulting fields is a must. Knowledge and experience related to power plant development or operation is a plus, but is not required. Requirements include exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English, as well as outstanding research, analytical, and spreadsheet skills. JOB DESCRIPTION The position will provide an opportunity for an individual with an interest in business and a desire to utilize his/her technical skills to pursue a career in the business and financial marketplace. The position is not for engineering design. Responsibilities include working interchangeably between Spanish and English documents, proposal and report preparation, valuation modeling, cost estimation, review of construction drawings, development of client relationships, and assistance in sales presentations. The position will include some travel, both domestic and international. Fluency in Spanish is required.
