Electrical Engineering Co-Op - Wireless Components Division/Location/Company Description: Advanced Control Components, ACC, designs and manufactures an array of radio frequency devices that are primarily used in military and commercial communication systems, RADAR, and radio astronomy networks. Our primary focus is on high frequency, wireless technology. Amplifiers, phased locked oscillator assemblies, frequency converters, and systems operating from VHF through 50 GHz are a few of the things our company designs and produces. We're a small company actively seeking motivated individuals to work alongside our engineering team on various aspects of wireless design and development. Advanced-Control Components is located in Eatontown NJ (Central New Jersey) Job Description: Co-op students will work with engineers to test wireless hardware devices both at the module and subsystem levels. This job will expose the student to areas including: basic troubleshooting techniques, wireless signal filtering, network analysis (2 port s-parameter) measurements, telecommunication applications, and digitally controlled devices. All testing is done in a temperature controlled, dust and static free clean room. Hardware experience is preferred but not required. Assignments will be given based on the student’s area of interest and experience.
