The Alumni
Service Award is given annually to engineering alumni
who volunteer their time and effort to support the
engineering department in fulfilling its mission and
meeting its educational goals and objectives. The Alumni
Service Award was established by the Department of
Engineering in the Spring of 2000 in order to formally
recognize alumni who have significantly contributed to
the further improvement of the engineering program.

Winners
Jay Ross (EE '78)
for volunteering his time to mentor, support, and guide
the Hearing Aid Team in achieving excellence in
engineering design in the required Senior Project
course.
Jonathan Hansen
(ME '99) and Stuart Ducker (ME '99) for
volunteering their time to mentor, support, and guide
the 2000 Mini-Baja Car Team in designing, manufacturing,
and participating in the 2000 Mini-Baja East
Competition. |
